Describes a procedure for the determination of the hydrogen sulfide (H[2]S) content of fuel oils such as marine residual fuels and blend stocks, in the range 0,40 to 15,0 mg/kg with viscosities up to 3000 mm[2]s[-1] at 50 degrees C, and marine distillate fuels in the range 0,40 to 9,70 mg/kg as measured in the liquid phase.
