Applies to refrigerated cabinets for the retail sale of packaged frozen foods. It provides for two climate classes, for use where the ambient temperature will not exceed 25C (e.g. a naturally mild climate or a fully and continuously air-conditioned store) and for use where the ambient temperature may exceed 25C but will not exceed 32C. Performance requirements and methods of test are specified, together with other requirements relating to construction, volume and area ratings, and markings.
