Standard defines the end fittings and adapters for hose assemblies to be used for hydraulic circuits and hydraulic equipment using mineral working fluid. However, standard is applicable to the fittings and adapters to be used for water based working fluid, synthetic system working fluid or medicated fluid, as agreed between the parties concerning acceptance.
