Structural design of lighting columns shall be verified by calculation by testing. Sets out criteria to be used when verifying the structural design of a lighting column by type testing. Does not cover testing for quality control. It applies to post top columns less than or equal to 20 m height and to columns with brackets less than or equal to 18m height. Excludes effects caused by the shedding of vortices (Karman turbulence and effects caused by the attachment of signs, overhead wires, etc.
