Proposes rules for the analysis, design, detailing and construction of simply supported composite beams. The rules apply only to beams composed of limited types of structural steel sections acting together with either a concrete slab cast on removable formwork, or a concrete slab cast on permanent formwork of profiled steel sheeting.
