标准简介
The testing is used for determining the ductility of butt welded joints produced by fusion welding. The ductility is characterized by the bending angle and the bending elongation. With the specimens it is possible to assess the behaviour of the weld, the fusion surface, the heat affected zone and the unaffected parent metal for various directions of stressing. For testing butt welded joints with a narrow weld (e.g. electron beam weld) DIN 50121 Part 2 can also be used.
