METHODS OF TESTING VULCANIZED RUBBER - DETERMINATION OF RESISTANCE TO OZONE CRACKING (STATIC STRAIN TEST)
出版:British Standards Institution

专家解读视频
Describes a method for estimating resistance of vulcanized rubbers to cracking when exposed, under dynamic tensile strain, to air containing a definite concentration of ozone and at a definite temperature in circumstances where the effects of direct light are excluded. Caution is necessary in relating standard test results to service performance since ozone resistance of vulcanizates can vary according to conditions, especially ozone concentration and temperature. Also tests are done on thin test pieces deformed in tension and the significance of attack for articles in service may be different because of effects of size and of type and magnitude of deformation.
