This Standard specifies testing methods for porcelain suspension insulators, long rod insulators, line post insulators, pin insulators, etc. to be used for overhead lines. Either of the specifications stated in this text or those stated in Annex (normative9 shall be applied throughout to a product, and it is not allowed to apply the items or contents in the text and Annex confusedly.
