ALSO NUMBERED AS BS 5724: SECTION 2.32: 1995 Gives particular requirements for the safety of associated equipment of X-ray equipment. Includes the following sections: protection against electric shock hazards; protection against mechanical hazards; protection against hazards from unwanted or excessive radiation; protection against hazards of ignition of flammable anaesthetic mixtures; accuracy of operating data and protection against hazardous output; protection against excessive temperatures and other safety hazards. Also gives detailed tables and annexes.
