Gives a method of test for assessing the resistance of a wood finishing system to marking by a disc of material saturated with the test liquid and placed in contact with the finished surface. May be used either as a means of comparing a number of finishing systems or as a control check test to ensure that a specified performance level is being achieved or maintained.
