This standard is included in DIN Handbook 392. Defines requirements dealing with safety, methods of rating and testing of single-, two-, three-, four-leg and endless chain slings, assembled by mechanical joining devices or welding, by means of short link grade 8 medium tolerance lifting chain as in EN 818-2, using the appropriate range of components in the same grade.
