CONTAINED IN VOL. 05.01, 2005Establishes carbonizable substances in paraffin wax.Applies to paraffin wax for pharmaceutical use, as defined by the U.S. National Formulary, with a melting point as determined in accordance with Test Method D 87, between 117 and 149 degrees F (47 and 65 degree C).
