Applicable to internal fuses designed to isolate faulty capacitor elements of a capacitor unit so as to permit operation of the remaining parts of that unit, together with the bank to which the unit is connected. These fuses are not intended to substitute for a switching device (eg circuit breaker) or for external protection of any part of the capacitor bank.
