Applicable to cementitiously stabilized materials (crushed stone, gravel, sand and soil) and describes methods to determine the relationship between moisture content and dry density of a cementitiously stabilized material compacted in a 152 mm diameter mould using a total effort of 2427 kNm per cubic metre, and to determine the maximum dry density and optimum moisture content from the relationship obtained.
