Applies to filler metals in the form of solid wire electrodes and filler wires for the submerged arc welding of unalloyed and alloy steels, e.g. conforming to DIN 17100, DIN 17155 Part 1 and Part 2, DIN 17172 and DIN 17175, and fine-grained structural steels up to 500 N/mm2 minimum yield point, and also to the weld metal of wire-flux combinations.
