Specifies requirements for corrosion and heat resisting steel in plates 3 mm to 100 mm thick, thick and narrow strip 0.050 mm to less than 3 mm thick and wide strip and sheet 0.30 mm to less than 3 mm thick, for pressure purposes, for use at elevated, ambient and low service temperatures. For certain steels, provision has been made to meet properties at different combinations of temperature; requirements are specified, where appropriate, for ambient temperature properties only, and elevated temperature and ambient temperature properties. Covers designation, material compliance, information to be supplied by the purchaser, manufacture of the steel and the supply condition.
