Gives requirements for wrought seamless and fabricated carbon and ferritic alloy steel butt welding pipe fittings for petroleum industry and is in metric units. The following types of fittings are covered: 45 degree long radius elbows, 90 degree long and short radius elbows, 90 degree long radius tangent elbows, long and short radius return bends, equal and reducing tees, concentric and eccentric reducers, caps and lap joint stub ends. Excludes welding neck flanges which are covered in BS 1560 and BS 3293. Also lists information to be supplied by purchaser.
