Establishes uniform requirements for assessing electrical, mechanical and environmental properties of potentiometers, with or without switch and with a nominal resistance up to and including 2.2 megohms. It prescribes test methods and classifies the potentiometers into categories. The Standard is compatible with IEC Publication 190.
