This standard is applicable to cathode ray tubes and cathode ray tube assemblies (referred to as CRT) intended for use as components in apparatus designed to be used in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code Rules, Part I and the National Electric Code. A CRT mentioned by this standard is intended for use in dry locations, to be used in any other environment, will be the subject of further investigation.
