Details the classification of family X (Greases) which belongs to class L (Lubricants, industrial oils and related products). Applies to categories of greases used for lubrication of equipment, components of machines, vehicles etc. and classified according to the operating conditions under which they are used. Cannot be used to indicate the suitability of greases for special applications such as food contact, radiation, hard vacuum, etc.
