Covers inductive-type ballasts for use on a.c. supply at 50Hz or 60Hz associated with sodium lamps and describes the requirements with which inductive-type ballasts shall comply in order to ensure the correct performance of complete sodium lamp circuits.Amendment No. 1 - Increases the scope so as to apply to ballasts which form an integral part of a luminaire and which cannot be tested separately and amends Sub-clauses 5.8, 5.10, 5.11.1, 6.4 and 6.5 accordingly. Also amends Sub-clauses A1 and A2.1 of Appendix.
