Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC TR 15504-3:1998 as an Interim Australian/New Zealand Standard. The ISO/IEC document specifies the minimum set of requirements for performing an assessment, which will increase the likelihood that results of the assessment are objective, impartial, consistent, repeatable and representative of the processes assessed, and also defines the circumstances under which assessment results are comparable. Copies of ISO/IEC TR 15504-3 may be purchased from or viewed at the head office of either Standards Australia or Standards New Zealand.
