Gives preferred values for characteristics and ratings and also inspection requirements for fixed surface mounting resistors of assessed quality. These resistors have metallised connecting pads and are to be mounted printed boards. It selects from generic specification, CECC 40000, appropriate test methods to be used in detail specifications derived from this specification. A blank detail specification completed as specified in this document forms a detail specification which may be used for granting of Qualification Approval to a resistor and for performance of Quality Conformance Inspection in accordance with CECC System.
