Describes test and measurement procedures which may be included in detail specification for dry reed change over contact units, mechanically biased of assessed quality. Also describes quality assessment procedures to be followed and states rules for writing corresponding detail specifications. Applies only to contact units operated by an applied magnetic field and is not limited to any particular type of contact load. Excludes dry reed change over contact units where: electrical circuit and magnetic circuit close at different magnetization values, electrical circuit and magnetic circuit open at different magnetization values, and units built with remanent magnetic material and permanent magnets.
