Applies to fuses incorporating enclosed current-limiting fuse-links with rated breaking capacities of not less than 6 kA, intended for protecting power-frequency a.c. circuits of nominal voltages not exceeding 1 000 V or d.c. circuits of nominal voltages not exceeding 1 500 V.

Supersedes DIN VDE 0636-10, DIN 57636-1 and DIN VDE 0636-1. (04/2004) Supersedes DIN IEC 60269-1:2003. (11/2005) Supersedes DIN EN 60269-2 and DIN EN 60269-3. DIN EN 60269-1 issue 11-2005, DIN EN 60269-2 issue 09-2002 and DIN EN 60269-3 issue 07-2004 remain valid in parallel until 01-03-2010. (03/2008)
