Proposes the amendments, of both editorial and technical natures, to AS 1604-1993. It includes borate treatment of hazard level 2, TBTN/permethrin treatment for hazard levels 3, and ammoniacal copper quaternary (ACQ) for hazard levels 1 and 3 for hardwood and hazard levels 2 to 5 for softwood. The relevant description of the newly included preservatives is added into Appendix B. Appendix C is now defined as an informative appendix and provides information on the allocation and registration of treatment plant numbers and preservative numbers.
