Gives safety requirements for apparatus that is connected to the supply mains (directly or indirectly) and is meant for domestic and similar general indoor use (not subject to dripping or splashing). Coverage includes the following sections: marking and instructions for use; heating under normal operation conditions; mechanical strength of picture tubes and protection against the effects of implosion; resistance to fire of television receivers.
