Provides general rules and guidelines for the preparation of documents used in electrotechnology. Contains a classification of documents, documentation principles, including the structure of documents, and general drawing rules on formats, layout, graphical symbols and simplification techniques. Numerous illustrative examples are provided. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 1082-1:1991 and IEC 1082-1:1991 Amendment 1:1995 (incorporates Corrigendum:1993).
