Applicable to the dimensions, materials, condition of the internal and external surfaces, and marking of welded stainless steel tubes for use in the food and chemical industries. In terms of testing, this standard applies to welded stainless steel tubes of test category 1 (TC1) as in DIN EN 10217-7, or for special applications, test category 2 (TC2) for tubes as in AD 2000-Merkblatt W 2.
