Applies to small sewage treatment plants with sewage aeration designed for the biological treatment of domestic sewage carried by a separate system from individual buildings or groups of buildings with a sewage inflow rate up to 8m[3] per day; this corresponds to a daily sewage discharge rate of approximately 50 inhabitants (see Sub-clause 3.1). Small sewage treatment plants with sewage aeration are designed for the aerobic biological treatment of domestic sewage.
