The standard specifies a method, which uses dimethylformamide, to determine the percentage by mass of acrylic, modacrylic, chlorofibre or elastane fibers, after elimination of non-fibrous materials, in textiles made from blends of: - acrylic, some modacrylics, some chlorofibres , some elastane fibers with - wool, animal hair, silk, cotton, viscose, cupro, modal, lyocell, polyamide, polyester, polypropylene, elastomultiester, elastolefin, melamine, two-component polypropylene / polyamide, polyacrylate or glass fibers.
