This attachment to Interim Standard EIA/IS-704-2 provides requirements for packaging components for automatic handling using mechanically-interlocking cover tape and flat carrier tape. Provides materials and processes necessary to package components such that they may be automatically handled. The carrier tape is flat carrier punched with hole patterns used to register certain components features.
