Details sampling plans for inspection by attributes compatible with BS 6001 : Part 1 that can be used when its switching rules are not applied. Suitable for use with single lots or lots of an isolated nature where quality can be expressed in percent nonconforming. Indexes the plans with a consumer's risk usually below 10%, but always below 13% which permits the ad-hoc procedure to be implemented as a standard. Suitable when the supplier and consumer regard the lot in isolation or when just the supplier regards it as one of a continuing series. This procedure is suitable for inclusion in product standards or specifications that contain sampling clauses.
