Gives requirements for air cooled power sources intended for use with the manual metal-arc and TIG welding. May also be used for other welding and allied processes which can tolerate reduction in voltage as the current increases. Associated series current regulators and driving motors or internal combustion engines for d.c. generators are included. Only covers power sources that can be rated at a duty cycle of at least 60 %.
