Gives preferred values for characteristics and ratings and also inspection requirements for fixed power resistors of assessed quality with a rated dissipation of up to 1,000 W. It selects from generic specification, CECC 40000, appropriate test methods to be used in detail specifications derived from this specification. A blank detail specification completed as specified in this document forms a detail specification which may be used for granting of Qualification Approval to a resistor and for performance of Quality Conformance Inspection in accordance with CECC system.
