Materials, construction, light sources and electrical requirements are given for internally illuminated and external lighting luminaires. Mean luminance and uniformity of luminance on the sign face are specified. Specifies requirements for resistance to twisting of the mounting arrangements between the sign and its support. Does not specify the requirements for such support when these take the form of posts.
