Presents methods of test for flexible insulating sleeving, including heat shrinkable sleeving, designed for insulating electrical conductors and connections of electrical apparatus. Test are designed to control quality of sleeving, but do not establish suitability of sleeving for impregnation or encapsulation processes or for other specialized applications. Test requirements in this part need to be supplemented by appropriate impregnation or compatibility tests to suit individual circumstances.
