This standard is included in DIN Handbook 235. Specifies the test procedure for the determination, by the guarded hot plate apparatus, of the thermal conductivity of substances or the thermal resistance of coated materials. DIN 52612 Parts 2 and 3 are decisive as regards the further treatment of the measured values of thermal conductivity of thermal resistance for use in building practice.
