Applies to silver-bearing brazing alloys with less than 20% by weight silver for brazing and braze welding of workpieces made of heavy metals, for example, iron, copper, and nickel materials. Brazing alloys on the basis of copper are standardized in DIN 8513 Part 1, silver-bearing brazing alloys with at least 20% by standardized in DIN 8513 Part 1, silver-bearing brazing alloys with at least 20% by weight silver are standardized in DIN 8513 Part 3.
