Measurement uncertainty can play a key role in whether equipment passes or fails to comply with a standard. BS EN 55016-4-2 explains the basis of calculating the uncertainty of levels when using CISPR measuring methods. This standard will play an important part in ensuring that test set ups keep their uncertainty levels within acceptable limits. Consequently this will be of use to manufacurers, and test laboratories .
