Describes electric clothes dryers for drying textile material in a current of warm air and to electric towel rails, for household purposes. Appliances not intended for normal household use, but which nevertheless may be a source of danger to the public, are within the scope of this standard. Does not take into account the special hazards which exist in nurseries nad other places where there are young children or aged or infirm persons without supervision. Does not apply to appliances exclusively for industrial purposes, tumbler dryers or appliances used in location where special conditions prevail. Includes several appendices.
