This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the screw lampholders with a rated voltage not exceeding 300 V (not exceeding 600 V for those used in secondary side of discharge lamp circuit) shown in table 1 equipped with e type screw shell specified in JIS C 7709, which are used in an electric line of a.c. 100 V, 200 V and 240 V systems at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. However, such lampholder for special purpose as given below are not included.
