Defines the way single and multi core and coaxial cables employed in wiring of aircraft should be marked as to size, origin, type, date, etc so as to permit servicing, to investigate faults and replacement, when required, with an equivalent cable. Also covers the approved procedures for core marking, and supplements those which relate to marking already in existence. Permits codification of manufacturer's identities by single countries.
