Describes connection of a supply cord to electrical appliances or other electrical equipment for 50 Hz or 60 Hz supply using two-pole couplers for a.c. only, with or without earthing contact, and with a rated voltage not more than 250 V and rated current not more than 16 A. Applies to household and similar general purpose equipment.
