Requirements for leakage detection systems used as part of a safety shut-off system (see AS 3814 / AG 501 Industrial and commercial gas-fired appliances). The standard applies to commercially available packaged leakage detection systems that include pressure switches, timers, pumps, etc., and those leakage detection systems that are built up from standard components intended for the same purpose. It does not apply to devices intended to detect external leakage from gas pipes.
