ALSO NUMBERED BS 5724:SECTION 2.29: 1992 Specifies the minimum safety requirements for Peritoneal Dialysis Equipment. The requirements do not apply to the Patient Circuit, Dialysing Solution or continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis equipment. Coverage includes: environmental conditions; protection against electric shock hazards; protection against hazards from unwanted or excessive radiation; protection against hazards of ignition of flammable anaesthetic mixtures; constructional requirements.
