Applies to seamless tubes of austenitic, ferritic and martensitic stainless steels according to DIN 17440 in the selection according to DIN 2462 Part 21) with tube outside diameters, wall thicknesses, masses (weights) per unit length and permissible deviations of dimension and form as decided for the revision of International Standard ISO 1127. This standard does not apply to tubes for the beverage industry and for dairy machines; which are covered by DIN 11850.
