Defines a method for determining vitamin A in foodstuffs by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Determination of vitamin A content is carried out by measuring all-trans-retinol, 13-cis-retinol and Beta-carotene. This part of BS EN 12823 is concerned with the measurement of all-trans-retinol and 13-cis-retinol.
