Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC TR 15504-6:1998 as an Interim Australian/New Zealand Standard. The ISO/IEC document defines the initial and ongoing qualification of assessors and provides guidance for the preparation and qualification of assessors to perform software process assessments. It describes mechanisms that may be used to demonstrate assessor competence and to validate an assessor's education, training and experience.
