Defines safety requirements for electrical motor-operated spray extraction appliances using water based cleaning agents for cleaning fabrics, upholstery, floor coverings or hard surfaces. designed for industrial and commercial use. Appliances with or without heating elements and with or without attachments are included. Concerns appliances in which the pressure of the cleaning agent is positive and not more than 25 bar, or in which the product of the pressure (in bar) and the flow of cleaning agent (in L/min) does not exceed 1000, and in which the temperature of the cleaning agent and the spray nozzle outlet does not exceed 85 degrees C.
